Custom Design

Sometimes the default widget design may not fully match your needs, and a bit of extra customization is required.

If you’d like to tailor the look and feel of Recommendation Widgets, Autocomplete, Search Results Page or Shopping Assistant Onboarding, there are two approaches you can take.

Make a copy of the current styles - this is a snapshot of the current styles that are copied. The advantage is that there is no future clash in style names; on the other hand, styles do not evolve.
Overtake current styles - styles are up-to-date, on the other hand, there is a risk with styles clash.

Usually, there is extra work on the HTML side as well, that needs some adjustment. Custom Design is not a standard part of assisted onboarding and is implemented as custom onboarding.
