Shopping Assistant Onboarding

Shopping Assistant is injected into the website and consists of the following parts:

• Floating Action Button and Conversation Window
• Touchpoints

To successfully onboard Shopping Assistant, it is necessary to:

1. Create a new account Account Registration
2. Inject a Data Collector into a webpage
   1. The team is preparing a data collector, and the deployment instructions are sent back to you.
3. Connect AI Knowledge Base
   1. Integrate items data
      1. A product catalogue is imported through Item Feed
   2. Integrate other text sources through Text Feed.
      1. Any arbitrary textual documents, e.g., originated from websites or PDF documents. There is also support for processing web URLs and PDF documents.
      2. For example, the following information can be added
         1. FAQs, Blog, Product articles
         2. Contact, returns policy, warranty
         3. Vouchers, gift cards policies, shops addresses
4. Optionally, provide support for Enable Add-to-cart button to display in shopping assistant recommendations
5. A preview is provided by the team in the form of (webpage_url?saexp=zoe)
   1. This preview is shown only to users who use a parameter in the URL address. This is not live and publicly available.
6. Go live (done by the team)

Shopping Assistant can also be integrated via Smartsupp Integration.

Customizations

Alternatively, sources into Shopping Assistant can be added by the Team as a one-off source. The initial seed list of URLs must be provided to the team for scraping.
